Letter 01 Christmas 1999

Dear friends,

As 1999 draws to a close the whole world looks forward to the dawn of a new century. Chris too looks forward to new expectations as he retires from the University come 31.12.1999. We thought it would be a good idea for us to send this open letter to you all. Some of you only heard or read about us ¡V yet faithfully continue to take the herbs. Good that you can trust and flow ! In this letter we intend to share with you our joy witnessing the miraculous healing that occurred each week as we care for the cancer sufferers. To us, we see in practical ways God¡¦s grace and mercy towards His children. With joy there must also be sadness and grief¡V.this is what yin and yang is all about¡Vtwo opposing forces working in unity to bring about balance and harmony. No one can deny this happening. So, in this letter we also like to share with you our frustrations. As we have often advised you: don¡¦t allow the negative emotions to bottle up in you. They can kill.

The Joy of Healing

Case 1: Cervival Cancer - Radiotherapy - Bed-ridden and On Wheel Chair at Most

VR, 69 year-old female, suffered from cervical cancer Stage 3B since 18 May1999. She had undergone 24 radiotherapy treatments and suffered bad side effects ¡V diarrhea, could not walk, and lost weight. According to the doctor¡¦s letter, she had heart failure thus most of the time is bed-ridden and on wheel chair at most.

Two years before this diagnosis of cancer, she experienced white discharge, bleeding on and off, and pain. She came to Cancer Care on 15 October 1999 with the following problems:
1. Backache ¡V day and night, everyday.
2. Had little appetite.
3. No strength ¡V could not walk or stand up. Need to sit down - "lembek".
4. Experienced pain when urinating.
5. Had vaginal discharge ¡V white, sometimes a lot, sometimes little.
6. She was not on any medication ¡V only vitamins.

She was given Capsule A, Cervical Tea, Pain Tea and C-Tea.

29 October 1999, two weeks on the herbs, she came back to Cancer Care and reported the following:
1. Previously she could not walk, now she could walk around the house and "taman" at home.
2. Pain in the back has lessened.
3. Her appetite has increased.
4. She is less tired.
5. She has no pain when urinating.
6. White vaginal dicharge is much less.

No Incurable Disease, Only Incurable People

LPK is a male of 27 years old. He suffers from brain cancer. In December 1998, he had an operation followed by 13 times of radiation treatments. In June 1999, he had a relapse. An X-ray showed a recurence of two lumps in the brain. The doctor told the family ¡V go home ¡V no drugs ¡V prepare to die.

The family brought LPK to Cancer Care on 30 July 1999. LPK had distended stomach, could not walk, was breathless. Both knees swelled. He was unable to sit up. He had double vision. He was given Capsule A, de-Tox and Brain Tea.

8 October 1999 two months one week on the herbs, LPK, his mum and dad came to share his progress. He had extremely good appetite, not tired anymore. The swelling of his knees and legs were gone and so was his breathlessness. He could now climb the stairs many times and has no more problem walking about. There is no more double vision.

LPK complained that the Brain-Tea was bitter.

In November the whole family came to Cancer Care again announcing to everyone that LPK could no longer take the herb ¡V he vomitted even at the thought of it. They wanted other herbs. Chris told them: these herbs are all that we have. If there are other better herbs, we would have given LPK without him having to ask for it.

LPK rudely left the centre. Chris said this to his parents: Uncle and Aunty, he is your son and cancer is his sickness. We have done our best to help.

Healing dear friends, must come from within you yourself. If you do not want to heal yourself, who else can?

1. Radiation, so valuable in the treatment of cancer, is itself carcinogenic. A relatively low doses of radiation causes dangerous mutation which may eventually develop into a tumour within a radiation-exposed area.

2. Surgery remains an enormously important part of cancer treatment. If the cancer was a local disease, without the problem of distant metastatic spread, without doubt, surgery is the method of cure.

3. Chemotherapy drugs are really poisons and their usage strikes dread into the hearts of many patients.

4. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy cause both short term and long term side effects such as:

„h Numbness or tingling in toes and fingers

„h Heart irregularity and breathlessness which can lead to heart damage
„h Loss in hearing or buzzing in the ear
„h Bloated abdomen and no bowel action

5. The long term side effects due to cumulative dosage of chemo-drugs are: „h Infertility
„h Permanent kidney damage
„h Respiratory failure

6. Side effects of hormon-type drugs:
„h Uterine bleeding
„h Fluid retention
„h Masculinizing effects ¡V deepening of voice, growth of facial hairs etc.
„h Diabetes
„h Thinning of bone and easy bruising
„h Blood clotting
„h Proness to infection
„h Hot flushes

Letters from Friends

On 26 November 1999 we received this fax: Dear Chris, The above is the result of my (scan) done on 9/11/99. I must say I am very pleased with the result. I just want to say a big thank you for all the herbs. I am so thankful to God. The picture on the left shows the measurement of the fibroid 25.2 mm by 27.8 mm taken on 4/9/99. After taking the herbs it was reduced to a small scar which the doctor said is insignificant.

Ultrasound Pelvis: 9/11/99
Clinical indication: Adenomyosis
Findings: The uterus appears normal.
No evidence of fibroid.

Words of Wisdom - Hope & False No Hope !

It is cruel to raise false hope, many people say.

Bluntly you are told: You have only 3 or 6 months to live. No medicine, no cure. Just prepare to go. Yet some others are told to enroll with the Pallative Centre for further management (and you know the reason why).

Don¡¦t you think that such insensitive comments or action is even more cruel than raising false hope?

During moments like this you become gullible and would grap any straw that could promise any slight chance of hope for living. Many people would descend on you like vultures offering "magic potions" with promise of cure. Be cautious.

HOPE and FEELINGS are chemical and physiological. Each person is an individual with infinite capacity to heal himself. He is not a statistic and therefore need not follow statistical trend.

Hope increases the cortisol and prolactin levels which help boost the immune system. The feeling of NO HOPE kills. It is better to have false hope than to have no hope at all. In fact, there is no such thing as false hope, only FALSE NO-HOPE ¡V because no mortal on earth can play God. Healing is real.
